Stomach Cancer
What is Stomach Cancer?
The stomach is a vital muscular organ located in the upper abdomen that holds and breaks down food. Stomach cancer develops when malignant cells form in the innermost lining of this organ. If left untreated, these tumors can grow through the stomach wall and spread to nearby lymph nodes or other organs, such as the liver, lungs, or lining of the abdomen.

Pre-existing Medical Conditions
Long-term stomach inflammation (gastritis),ipernicious anemia, or gastric polyps.
Genetics & Age
A family history of gastric cancer or inherited genetic mutations (e.g., Lynch syndrome). Advanced age also plays a significant role
